Please join us at Havre de Grace United Methodist Church for our 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday Service on April 17. All are welcome! What is Maundy Thursday? It is the Thursday before Easter believed to be the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with his disciples. Hear the story of an extraordinary display of humility, when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, commanding that they to do the same for each other. “Maundy” comes from the same root word as “mandate.” At the foot-washing Jesus gives us a mandate to serve others in his love. We look forward to having you worship with us.
