Women’s involvement in the United States’ first army is a mostly untold history. On Sunday, September 27 at 1pm, at the Hays House museum in Bel Air, visit with women of the re-created 1st Maryland Regiment to discover why and how women and children were living “on the strength” of Washington’s Army, much against his preference.
