The STAR Centre Presents: Foreigners Journey Featuring Constantine Maroulis

Saturday, April 12th, 2025
08:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The STAR Centre
700 Congress Avenue
Havre De Grace, maryland 21078

Almost any music fan who came of age in the 1980s will cite Foreigner and Journey as bands that sound tracked their young life, bands that are forever lodged in their mind. Back then, the two acts might have been separated by an ocean, but together they helped define the “magic era” of classic rock.
At one point not too long ago, they toured the world as a one-two combination, but don’t count on it happening again. Luckily, you can count on Foreigners Journey, a veritable tribute-band supergroup, to deliver the unforgettable experience of seeing both bands in one knockout show.

Foreigners Journey comprises veteran members of the music scene, guys who’ve made it with their own original music. But since 2014 they’ve also dedicated themselves to something larger, a supergroup intent on bringing the sounds, sights, and emotional thrills of two of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest bands to eager fans around the Northeast and beyond.

Featuring American Idol finalist, Rudy Cardenas on Lead Vocals. Keyboardist Paul Kochanski, Bassist Joe Pettengill and Drummer Art Mambuca (and his sprawling double kick-drum kit) all played together in the Journey tribute band Captured. And, rounding out the band is hotshot Guitarist Kevin Alexander Herrera and Adam Tese on Saxophone.

Their repertoire of classics hits by Foreigner and Journey and a few surprises provides a crowd-pleasing night of unforgettable music.

With over 18 years in the LA music scene, Rudy Cardenas has made his mark on the industry with gritty, powerful, yet undeniably beautiful vocals reminiscent of a young Steve Perry. Graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Vocal Performance, Rudy has taken his studies in the Rock, Classical, Jazz, and Latin genres to create a sound all his own.

Best known as a season 6 American Idol finalist, Rudy has taken that experience and platform to share his talents nationally. For the last 5 years Rudy has toured with the UK sensation The Classic Rock Show, an all-star classic rock review who have played 33 yearly sold out shows across Europe. Rudy’s solo album “Fly” on record label Frontiers Music, is available now on all platforms.

Now, as the lead singer for FOREIGNERS JOURNEY, Rudy and the band deliver heartwarming power ballads like “Faithfully,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” to anthems like “Feels Like The First Time,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Cold As Ice” and “Any Way You Want It,” Foreigners Journey with Rudy Cardenas are more than a tribute band. They’re a time machine, and their energy is infectious!

Bar service inside concert venue begins at 7:00 PM
Concert Doors open at 7:30 PM; Concert begins at 8:00 PM
No outside food or beverage will be permitted inside the building.
This is a seated venue…. but there will be dancing!!
