Join Laila’s Gift for our 2nd Annual Blooming Inclusiveness™ Sunflower Planting on June 26 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Edgeley Grove Park in Fallston, Maryland!
As part of our Adopt-a-Park initiative, we’ll come together as a community to hand-plant thousands of sunflower seeds, helping beautify our environment while celebrating individuals with visible and non-visible disabilities.
Sunflowers are recognized around the world as a symbol of hidden disabilities. Much like the families we serve, they represent strength, resilience, hope, and the power of growing toward the light. Through this annual tradition, we honor our incredible Sunflower Families and create a visible reminder that everyone belongs.
Following the passage of Maryland’s landmark LEAD Act, Blooming Inclusiveness will feature a special announcement celebrating an exciting new chapter for families, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities across the state.
This FREE community event is open to all ages. Registration is required to ensure enough materials are available for everyone to participate! Registration opens June 1, 2026.
