Learn about the fabric-making work of enslaved men, women, and children. From planting and harvesting to spinning, weaving, sewing, and mending, daily life at the Hays-Heighe House in the 19th century depended on the forced labor of those the Hays family enslaved—work that sustained the household, the fields, and likely the factory as well.
Free event. Limited seating.
