Two hundred years ago, Revolutionary War hero General Lafayette made a farewell tour of the Colonies, stopping in Havre de Grace where he was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of grateful American citizens. Two hundred years later, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Lafayette will return in full uniform for a celebratory reenactment of his historic visit. This exciting event will include live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, local vendors and fireworks.
